Leyfos Plastics Ltd – £250,000 Investment through 2023/2024.
Investing in the latest up to date Plant and Equipment to improve our capacity and production processing operations serving the Water and Wastewater industry and the Offshore Renewable Energy market has been at the forefront of our plans over the past year, continuing through to the next.
Leyfos Plastics Limited invested in a new 2 head 5 tonne capacity Abus Gantry Crane the later part of 2023 this enabling us to increase our lifting capacity.
Since then we have purchased a new state of the art large capacity pre-heat Box Oven enabling a more efficient heating process of large pipework measuring up to 2 metres in diameter and 6 metres in length.
In July 2024 we purchased and commissioned a Hodge Clemco Blast Room, massively increasing our shot blasting capacity and throughput. We have also purchased a Wheelabrator Hand Blast cabinet helping to prepare and complete coating products in the Renewable Energy sector.
We have had a new wet paint Spray Booth designed to upgrade and replace our current Spray Booth in the Factory, this is due to be installed during Autumn 2024.
A new 7.5 tonne lorry has been added to our fleet to expand our transport availability.
Planning permission has now been granted to build a new factory/warehouse adding an extra 10,000 sq feet taking our total premises to 45,000 sq foot, the ground has been dug off and prepared ready to build our building allowing more space for production/storage of items. Building work is due to commence in Winter 2024.
